Welcome to the Ripley Tech Page
Dave Beresford,
Phil Wilson and
Julie Hamilton
have been good enough to scan in a goodly number (JR-ism) of pictures
of Ripley
Technical Grammar School pupils, dating from the mid to late 1970's.
They are
presented here, and I haven't yet had time to do any fancy stuff like
give you
everyone's name, though if you "hover" your mouse over the picture a
small bit
of explanatory text should pop up. How to join the RipleyTech mailing list
First of all make sure that your e-mail client is set to send
Note that the name has "-request" in it. The body of the message should consist of one line, which you need to type into the message body: SUBSCRIBE You wail be sent a confirmation request to make sure that you are really the person who asked to join. Just hit the "Reply" button - you don't need to add anything. You will then receive back a confirmation that you are on the list, along with instructions telling you how to get off it. Save this message. Remember to always send mail "Plain Text" because otherwise you will get a rejection message. This is to ensure that viruses cannot be spread via the list.
Once you are on the list, you mail everyone by sending to Note that messages to everyone on the list are sent to the name without the -request. If you have any questions or problems mail me at Spread the wordIf you know of anyone else who might want to join, please point them at this web page. Please let me know if you have any pictures that you would like to be added to this site. Privacy
Everyone's e-mail address is kept securely on the server, and will not
be
disclosed to anyone other than fellow list members. Only list members
can post to the list, so it should be a "spam free" zone. PicturesIf you have pictures of Ripley Tech, from 1958 to 1981, please send them to me and I will be happy to post them on these pages. Thanks to David Beresford for these pictures.

Phil Wilson has sent a recent photograph of
himself which you can see just
below this paragraph. He is looking suspiciously like
Bruce Willis, but he assures me it's genuine. All the photographs below
are also courtesy of Phil W, so thanks for the contribution.
Thanks to Julie Hamilton for providing this next set of photographs. I can see that I never got invited to the really interesting parties :-)
